January 22, 2011

Well, yesterday was our 1st anniversary for Heitz Handbells and Music. Neither of us realized it until most of the way through the morning. We ordered take out pizza and enjoyed talking with the customers and friends who came in. It was a great day and we both have a feeling of great accomplishment. The look of the store has been pretty stable for 1 month. We have been online for almost 2 months now. I've been screwing things up with the pictures a bit and am waiting for our website designer to fix my mistakes.
Norm is double checking all the entries and I continue to enter music. I'm working through the Jeffers' companies: I've finished Red River, Ring Out, Ringing Word, Ring Praise. I'm now on Fred Bock, Composer's Press, Busy Ringers, Robert Groth, and Your Songs. When I'm done with that I'll start on Jeffers. It's a lot of work, but the feeling of accomplishment so far is great.
Alanna asked us if we wanted to do the Reading Session for Anthornis. So we're working on that. And I've asked permission to display at BellFest and we've signed up to display at the Lansing Festival in March.
Norm continues to "enjoy" editing my mistakes, talking to customers, taking orders, creating descriptions, etc.
